Traders mark the wall above and below price as the first reference levels for the day and watch how price behaves as it approaches them. Behaviour at a wall depends on the gamma regime: walls are firmer in positive gamma.
How often they update
GammaPulse recomputes the walls from the options chain about once a minute during the regular session. Outside market hours the last session's walls are shown with their time.
