Privacy Policy

Pre-launch draft. Like our Terms, this Privacy Policy will be replaced with a lawyer-reviewed version before the paid founding tier opens. The Service is currently free; we collect very little data. Questions: founder@gammapulse.tech.

The short version

  • We collect your email address (only if you submit it).
  • We collect your Discord username + user ID (only if you join our Discord server).
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data with marketers.
  • We share necessary data with third-party service providers (listed below) who help us run the Service.
  • You can delete your data at any time by emailing founder@gammapulse.tech.

1. Who we are

GammaPulse (the “Service”) is a trading-signal publishing service. The data controller, until LLC formation, is the founder of GammaPulse, contactable at founder@gammapulse.tech. Following LLC formation, the controller will be the LLC and this section will be updated.

2. What we collect

From you, when you submit it

  • Email address — collected via the waitlist form on gammapulse.tech and stored in our Formspree account (during pre-launch) and later in our Resend email-sending account.
  • Discord username and Discord user ID — collected automatically when you join our Discord server. These are visible to anyone in the server by Discord’s design.

Automatically, when you visit the website

  • IP address and basic request metadata (user agent, referrer) — logged by our hosting provider (Vercel) for anti-abuse and operational diagnostics. We do not have direct access to this beyond aggregate statistics.
  • No analytics or tracking cookies are set at this time. The site does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking. If we add analytics in the future, we will use a privacy-respecting tool (e.g., Plausible) and update this policy.

What we don’t collect

  • We do not collect your name, address, phone number, brokerage credentials, account balances, trading history, or any other personally identifying information beyond what is listed above.
  • We will never request your brokerage account credentials. Anyone claiming to be GammaPulse and asking for those is impersonating us — report it to founder@gammapulse.tech.

3. How we use it

The data we collect is used only to:

  • Deliver the Service (send you signals via email or Discord that you opted in to receive).
  • Assign appropriate access roles in our Discord server when paid tiers open (e.g., grant the @Starter role when you subscribe).
  • Communicate with you about the Service (Terms changes, methodology updates, service incidents).
  • Diagnose abuse, fraud, and operational problems.

4. Third-party service providers

We use the following third parties to operate the Service. They have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data we share with them:

  • Vercel — hosts gammapulse.tech (the landing page). Receives the standard HTTP request metadata of visitors. Vercel privacy.
  • Cloudflare — DNS resolution for gammapulse.tech. Receives DNS query metadata. Cloudflare privacy.
  • Formspree — receives the waitlist email when you submit the form. Formspree privacy.
  • Discord — hosts our community server. Discord’s data practices govern your Discord account. Discord privacy.
  • X (Twitter) — we publish posts on @gammapulsetech. X’s data practices govern your X account. X privacy.
  • GitHub — hosts the public Merkle-root repository. Visitors to the repo are subject to GitHub’s practices. GitHub privacy.
  • Resend (when wired) — will deliver email newsletters; receives your email address and engagement data. Resend privacy.
  • Stripe (when paid tiers open) — will process payments; receives the data necessary for that (card, billing email). We never store your card data on our infrastructure. Stripe privacy.

5. We do not sell your data

We do not and will not sell your data to marketers, data brokers, or any third party for the purpose of advertising. We do not share your data with affiliates or partners beyond the service providers listed above and only insofar as they need it to do their job.

6. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:

  • Know what data we have about you. Email us and we will tell you.
  • Delete your data. Email us and we will remove your email from our list and any other stored data we control.
  • Export your data. Email us and we will send you a copy of what we have.
  • Unsubscribe from email at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
  • Leave the Discord server at any time. Doing so removes your membership; Discord may retain records on their side per their policy.

If you are a California resident, additional CCPA rights apply. If you are in the EU/EEA, GDPR rights apply (lawful basis for our processing: legitimate interest in operating the Service, plus your explicit consent when you submit your email or join Discord). To exercise any of these rights, email founder@gammapulse.tech with the subject line “Privacy Request”.

7. Data retention

  • Email addresses: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
  • Discord membership: retained while you are a member.
  • Subscription records (when paid tiers open): retained for the duration of your subscription plus 7 years for tax and regulatory purposes, then deleted unless legal retention is required.
  • Operational logs (Vercel, etc.): retained per the service provider’s policy (typically 30-90 days for the level of detail we’d ever see).

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, email founder@gammapulse.tech and we will remove it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we hold: encrypted connections (HTTPS), credentials stored with restrictive file permissions (mode 600) on a dedicated host, no card data on our infrastructure (Stripe handles all of that), and minimal data collection in the first place.

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be announced via the email list, Discord, and our X account. The Effective date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
